Privacy Policy

At the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó, we are committed to protecting privacy and ensuring the correct use of personal data. For this reason, this Privacy Policy aims to inform about the processing of personal data managed by the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó on this website, electronic office, and any of its subdomains, microsites, and/or mobile applications.

Who is the Data Controller for your personal data?

The Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó holds the status of Data Controller, being advised and supervised for adequate protection by our Data Protection Officer.

Why do we process your personal contact data?

The data provided to us, as well as any other data generated during the course of the relationship with the citizen/interested party, may be processed for different purposes depending on the municipal services being provided and, in any case, to maintain contact and communication with them and manage the provision of the services requested and/or provided by this City Council.
Where appropriate, more explicit and specific purposes may be indicated in the informative clauses incorporated into each of the data collection channels (web forms, paper forms, voice announcements or posters, and informative notes) for specific scenarios.

What is the legal basis that legitimizes the processing of your personal data? That is, what condition grounds or enables us to process your personal data?

The legal basis that legitimizes us to process your data may vary: in some cases, it may be the consent of the interested parties; in others, compliance with a legal obligation on our part; in others, the fulfillment by the City Council of a mission carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of Official Authority; in others, the protection of vital interests; and in others, the execution of a contract.

Providing the requested data is mandatory, as it is essential to address your request and/or provide our services; if you do not provide it, we will not be able to carry it out or provide them. When the processing is based on your consent, it will be understood as given unequivocally, considering this submission as a clear affirmative act on your part that manifests said consent.

How long do we retain your personal data?

In general, the personal data provided to us will be retained to maintain a history of service and efficiently manage our services, provided that the citizen does not request the erasure of their data. Even if erasure is requested, the data will remain blocked for the necessary duration, limiting its processing solely to any of the following scenarios: to comply with legal/contractual obligations of any kind to which we are subject, and/or during the statutory limitation periods for any liabilities on our part, and/or the exercise or defense of claims derived from the relationship maintained with the citizen/interested party.

Who can be assignees or recipients of your personal data?

The data you provide may be communicated to third parties for the fulfillment of purposes directly related to legitimate functions of the transferor and assignee, such as entities or bodies to which there is a legal obligation to communicate data, public or private entities or organizations with which we reach agreements to develop social, cultural, or sports projects, collaboration agreements, etc.
