Through this document, the City Council informs of the General Terms and Conditions governing the access, browsing, and use of the Internet Portal of the City Council of Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó. In particular, it informs and regulates access to and use of the following websites:

In accordance with Article 39 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector, an internet portal is understood as the electronic access point, in this case www.lavallduixo.es (as well as any of its subdomains, microsites, and/or mobile applications), the ownership of which corresponds, in this case, to the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó, which allows access via internet to the published information and to the Electronic Office https://sede.lavallduixo.es/

Electronic Office
In accordance with Article 38 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector, the electronic office of the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó has been located on the Internet at the address https://sede.lavallduixo.es/. The electronic office of the City Council is the available electronic address through which citizens access information and electronic services and procedures via telecommunications networks, where the ownership, management, and administration correspond to the City Council in the exercise of its competences. The Electronic Office is, in general, free to access and does not require prior subscription or registration by the user. However, for security and privacy reasons, access to certain areas and services of the electronic office may be subject to specific authentication conditions as established in the detailed information corresponding to each particular service. This Electronic Office allows actions, procedures, and services that require electronic access via internet by citizens to the public services of the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó to be carried out securely, efficiently, and with the required accessibility and quality. For this reason, it is recommended that before you begin browsing, you carefully read this ‘Legal Notice’.

General Terms and Conditions of Use of the Portal

By accessing and browsing the Internet Portal of the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó and/or by using the services included therein, you acquire the status of User, without reservations of any kind, to each and every one of these General Terms and Conditions of Use and the Particular Conditions that, where applicable, govern the provision of services made available on the website, without prejudice to the User’s attention and compliance with the conditions set and provided by the websites hyperlinked from https://sede.lavallduixo.es/, for which the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó is not responsible.

The Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó may, at any time and without prior notice, modify the General Terms and Conditions of Use, as well as the Particular Conditions that may be established. In any case, the User agrees to make appropriate use of the content and services that the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó offers through the Portal and, including but not limited to:

(i) engaging in activities that are illegal, unlawful, or contrary to good faith and public order.

(ii) Not introducing, storing, or disseminating on or from the Portal any information or material that, explicitly or implicitly, is defamatory, libelous, obscene, threatening, xenophobic, an apology for terrorism, pornographic, or incites violence or discrimination by reason of race, sex, ideology, religion, or that in any way violates morality, public order, fundamental rights, public libertades, with special attention to the honor, privacy, or image of third parties and, in general, against human rights.

(iii) Not using false identities, nor impersonating the identity of others when using the Portal or any of the services provided, including the use, where applicable, of passwords or access keys belonging to third parties or in any other way. Consequently, the User may not attempt to access and, where applicable, use the keys of other users and modify or manipulate their messages.

(iv) Not introducing, storing, or disseminating through the Portal any computer program, data, virus, code, hardware or telecommunications equipment, or any other electronic or physical instrument or device capable of causing damage to the Portal, to any of the services, or to any of the equipment, systems, or networks of the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó or, in general, of any third party, or that in any other way is capable of causing them any type of alteration or preventing their normal operation.

(v) Not destroying, altering, using for own benefit, disabling, or damaging the data, information, programs, or electronic documents of the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó or any third parties.

(vi) Not introducing, storing, or disseminating through the Portal any content that infringes intellectual property rights, industrial property rights, or trade secrets of third parties, nor in general any content for which they do not hold, in accordance with the law, the right to make it available to third parties.

(vii) Not using the services offered on the Portal with the purpose of promoting external companies and services, other web pages, and conducting advertising or commercial campaigns, nor acting for the benefit of legal entities. In the event of contravening the above conditions, the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó reserves the right and shall be authorized to block, suspend, or cancel, immediately and without prior notice, access to and use of the Portal and, where applicable, to remove allegedly or declaredly illegal content, whether it does so at its sole discretion, or at the request of an affected third party or competent authority.

Liability

The Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó is not responsible for any damages that
may derive from, including but not limited to:

(i)Interferences, omissions, interruptions, computer viruses, breakdowns, and/or disconnections in the operational functioning of this electronic system or in the computer equipment and devices of the Users, caused by reasons beyond the control of the City Council of *get(‘*name’); ?>, which prevent or delay the provision of services or navigation through the System.

(ii) Delays or blockages in use caused by deficiencies or overloads of the Internet or other electronic systems.

(iii) Those that may be caused by third parties through illegitimate intrusions beyond the control of and not attributable to the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó.

(iv) The impossibility of providing the service or allowing access due to causes not attributable to the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó, due to the User, third parties, or cases of force majeure.

(v) The Portal of the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó may contain links to the electronic offices of other public Administrations or to web pages of other bodies, companies, or institutions, with the aim of making it easier for citizens to search for information and resources through the Internet. However, these pages are not owned by it and, therefore, the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó is not responsible for their content, operation, or the possible consequences that may derive from access or use of them. It may be indicated, through messages over the links, whether accessing them means leaving the Portal of the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó or not.
In any case, upon leaving the address https://sede.lavallduixo.es/, the information or services accessed fall outside the scope of responsibility of the owner of the electronic office of the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó.

Intellectual and Industrial Property

The source code, graphic designs, images, photographs, sounds, animations, software, texts, domain names, trademarks, as well as the information and contents collected throughout the entire Portal are protected by Spanish legislation, in favor of the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó. Their use, reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation, or any other similar or analogous activity is totally prohibited unless express authorization is granted by the Ajuntament de la Vall d’Uixó.

The license to use any content of this office, granted to the User, is limited to the downloading of said content and the private use thereof. In accordance with Article 8 of Law 37/2007, of November 16, on the reuse of public sector information, the reuse of information from Administrations and public sector bodies shall be subject, among others, to the following general conditions:
